Candy and gum
All products are summarized here that do not contain any chocolate, ie that are basically based on sugar. This includes jellies and fondants as well as all sweets and gum products. Candies are hard candies that are either poured (e.g. raspberry candy, characteristic: melts relatively quickly in the mouth) or pressed (e.g. Leone pastilles or Altoids, characteristic: firmer, hardly chewable, melt more slowly) or coated (e.g. Flavigny pastilles, characteristic: extremely hard, only suckable, long, slow pleasure).
